I really feel fortunate that I got opportunity to visit marvelous city Hyderabad. Like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi - Hyderabad has two faces. Walled city and New city. Personally I like walled cities more. Most of walled city has very interesting Qasidakari(Embroidery).
The area near Char minar is like a fully loaded Faluda of culture and civilization. Degwala, Rumalwala, ittarwala, chashmewala and you can't count how many Walas there.
I visited Char minar, Golkonda fort, Hussain sagar lake, Birla temple, Ratri bazar etc.
Char Minar
From my childhood days I saw it on tv, newspapers, magazines, books n more. I also seen char minar trophy in cricket matches on tv. That impression is very strong. After 52 steps when I reached first floor of Char minar all the memories were moving around four minars and saying, "Tejas, finally it happen". To visit char minar is like visit between the lane of reality and childhood memories. Fantastic feeling. If you are a enthusiastic of archaeology - architecture - art and culture then char minar will demend minimum four hours from you. When you reach near area and see char minar, you can feel that it is monument which itself came out from the land and not made by engineers and architects.
There is not a single tipical front vew of Char minar in this Photo feature.

Hussain Sagar Lake
There are two kinds of ways to see Hussain sagar lake. First is in Day time and second is in Night time. Lighting saround lake gives a shining neck less appeal in night, so obviously night view of Hussain Sagar is fabulous.
Third view of lake is an ariel view. You can feel ariel view from the top of Birla temple. Birla temple is on a rock in city.

To View Hussain sagar lake in night is celebration of eyes |
If you visit Hyderabad and not ate Biriyani then...yeh baat kuch hazam nahi hui! I ate Biriyani as wel as Kabab. Both were Veg. As my taste I believe Biriyani is an over rated food, So I can't get fun from Biriyani though served me by the kitchen of Hyderabad Nizam! My friends told me so many times that magic of biriyani is in Non-veg. I am veg. I have limitation so it can not be my cup of tea!
I enjoyed lot Veg. Kabab. Koyla(coal) and Halki anch(slow flame) creates a true taste of kabab!
When you visit Hyderabad or any other south city, eat Idli, Dosa and other south foods from roadside vendors. In Hyderabad I feel that in posh hotel south indian food and road side vendor's south Indian food has different taste. I feel more authentic is roadside food. It's authentic as wel as pocket friendly.
Hyderabad is also famous dor Karachi biscuits. You put biscuit in your mouth and it melt down.
